How much do the tours cost?

In the Discover Dingli Cliffs FREE tours, you state the price. In other words, our tours operate on a ‘Pay-What-It’s Worth’ basis to suit everyone’s budget. First, enjoy the tour and at the end, decide if and how much you want to tip. No hassle…No pressure!!.

Why are the tours FREE?

The Cliffs Interpretation Centre, which focuses on innovation and sustainability is a private company, and it has recently updated its tours in order to accommodate all visitors’ needs.

Do I need to book a FREE tour?

Yes, booking is necessary. Our tours are subject to booking, thus booking is very important. Bookings can be made directly through the website here, by filling in the booking form. After booking, kindly wait for a confirmation email of the booked tour.

Which FREE tours can I choose from?

Tour A consists of a FREE Audiovisual (approximately 30 minutes). TOUR B consists of a FREE Audiovisual and a FREE guided walk, approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

When do the FREE tours run?


Winter (1st October – 31st May)
TOUR A – Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 11:00, 12:00 or 1:00pm
TOUR B – Wednesday, Friday at 11:00pm

Summer (1st June – 30th September)
TOUR A – Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday at 7:00pm
TOUR B – Thursday at 06:30pm


Why do I have to sign a waiver of liability?

All package participants are required to sign a waiver of liability to meet insurance requirements. On the date, you’ll be requested to sign a printed waiver on your behalf and/or on the behalf of attending minor/s. Thank you for your cooperation.

And what happens if the weather is bad on the day?

The tours operate ONLY if weather permits.

When should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at The Cliffs Interpretation Centre at least 10 minutes before the scheduled package starts. To be fair to all participants, the activity will start at the scheduled time. Give yourself extra time for transport requirements or other delays.

What should I wear?

Please dress as comfortable as possible. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers adequate for walking off the beaten track.

What should I bring with me?

After booking is made, you will receive a confirmation by email. Please remember to bring with you weather-specific extras such as waterproof jacket or sunscreen. Remember to bring with you the camera and a smile :)

Are the packages suitable for kids?

Children are welcome to attend. The engaging audiovisual of TOUR A may prove fruitful to their enjoyment. However, for TOUR B, it may be too tiring for young children. We trust parents and guardians to monitor their children’s behaviour and actively assume responsibility for their safety throughout the whole activity.

How much walking is involved?

In TOUR A, there is no guided walks. The guided walk in TOUR B, will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. The terrain is generally all gentle with few moderate slopes. There is however some walking on footpaths and karstic terrain…but that’s what off the beaten track essentially means.

How long are the tours?

TOUR A is approximately half an hour and TOUR B takes approximately 2.5 hours to 3 hours.

Can I eat or drink after the activity?

It all depends on your personal preferences. Being an Interpretation Centre with innovative means of information dissemination, savouring local food produced and served at The Centre would surely add value to your visit to Dingli Cliffs. The unique kitchen and our menu highlight the culture, past traditions, gastronomy and seasonal environment of Dingli.
The Cliffs Interpretation Centre also offers a selection of local products, including sweet produce such as jams and savoury delicatessen for sale. Local herbs and spices can also make a perfect souvenir of your visit to Dingli Cliffs.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of participants is 25 persons and there is no minimum. Both the self-guided and guided excursions can be held for a minimum number of interested participants.
